i se your installed version is not the last, the last is wmi-datasource2.11

i solve it by create symbolic link
login ssh to zenoss machine u:root p:zenoss (default)
cd /opt/zenoss/bin
create symbolic link
ln -s /opt/zenoss/ZenPacks/ZenPacks.community.WMIDataSource-2.11.egg/ZenPacks/community/WMIDataSource/daemons/zenperfwmi zenperfwmi

try to restart zenoss process and it works with  me :-)

Note: i use latest vmware image of zenoss
