Using a negative filter match in event log?

I don't see this mentioned in the docmentation about the event log filters.  Is it possible to match events using a negative filter?  For example, to show all events that are NOT from the device "ANC_2950_1", or show all events that are NOT part of the /Status/Ping event class?
