Hi all, newbie for this fantasitic tool. and i still evaluate the tools. realize something different with my screen on the Modeler Plugin, it supposed to have "add fields" isnt it ?? try to find it everywhere but can't find it. i deployed the zenoss from the vmware appliance. is this a known case for the appliance edition ?

Herry Lee:

To add modelers to the list you'll have to install them via a zenpack. There is some advanced facility to just dump them in to zenoss as well. To add or remove modelers as a selection for a device or device class you can drag and drop them or use the <- and -> buttons.

btw, out of the topic, is there any known case or issue for the installation from vm appliance ? more specific on centos linux.

I'm going to be honest. Don't virtualize Zenoss if you're going to need to scale it up, run regular reports or if you'll have lots of users.
