Hi there!
I'm studying the possibility of using ZenOSS as event console but I have one question about it. I will receive a lot of events from many kind of devices (different kind of sensors, not snmp devices, etc) and I want to know if I could receive events from this devices if they aren't in the inventory of zenoss. Are there any way to do this on ZenOSS?

Zenoss will gladly accept events from events from devices that are not in its inventory. You should be fine.

Now I'll investigate if I can create a dummy device to simulate that all those external events are sent by it.
