Hi,

First of all sorry for my English, I am a Spanish Zenoss User.

Second,

Loading Image... Loading Image...

I've added manually Zenoss manufacturers. When I add a new device is configured correctly. The previous devices do not load the new configuration.
Can I refresh the previous devices with the new Hardware Model?

How long did you wait? It can take some time for a complete remodel for all devices to complete. You can use the gear icon to select model device.

Maybe restart zope? You could do a full Zenoss restart to rule out caching issues.

The problem is that the HW product key is different for some of these items. If the correct item isn't found during modeling it will add one which looks like an OID. You'll need to update all the manufacturers manually then remodel devices. The manufacturer on devices it set during model by NewDeviceMap and CiscoMap.

I've had this same issue before, where even when the HW product keys match the Hardware model on the infrastructure page shows up as the OID and then when you click the device the hardware model shows up correctly.  Restaring zope didn't help but going into zendmd and then doing a reindex() (which i have no idea what it actually does) works.

So equiros, if you haven't done this before try this as the zenoss user

[***@zenosshost ~]$ zendmd
Welcome to the Zenoss dmd command shell!
'dmd' is bound to the DataRoot. 'zhelp()' to get a list of commands.

reindex()
