Hi Zenoss community.

I downloaded Zenoss in the server cloud (centos 5 -32 bits), when make *service  zenoss start* Zenoss never started , uninstall, fix some file  and I went to reinstall Zenoss, but he showed me a message saying he was installed, I placed rpm-ivh - force zenoss-3.xxxxx and shows me up the next error.

I downloaded another RPM again but still the same. I checked the opt folder and there is nothing is as if not unpacks the RPM

I'm not at all sure what it is you're looking at or where you got this install?  I strongly recommend using 64 bit version of Zenoss, v4 is going to be 64 bit only so . . . you'll have no upgrade path.

Hi James.

This installation is only for one device that is un Amazon Cloud, the idea is monitor a Blackberry server. This is version 3 32 bits.

Anymore, It's true, is This error is very strange. 

Not the first time I passed this, the solution was to reinstall the operating system and reinstall zenoss, but this time I did not manage that virtual.

Rather than do a forced installed, fully remove the installation and try to install again. There is a section in the installation guide on how to clean up an install.

Can't be true :)
If it were removed, it would not tell you its already installed if it was removed.
rpm -qa | grep -i zenoss
If it returns any results, use rpm -e <packagename> to really remove it. You not uninstalled until the above command shows no results.
