I may be approaching this all wrong, but this is what I'm trying right now.

I need to do some new multigraphs for various memory usages.  I want to have my graph for each machine show the usages as area graphs with the total memory of the machine (ie, free for instance).  I don't see anyway to access hrMemorySize (which Zenoss appears to be using in the overview) inside a custom graph definition.  I've tried adding hrMemorySize to the /Server/Linux monitoring template but it is still not being collected.  I can access the value of hrMemorySize with snmpwalk/snmpget, so I know the target machine is exposing it.  (HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrMemorySize.0 = INTEGER: 264125812 KBytes)

1) is there anyway to access the configuration variables such as hrMemorySize from inside a custom graph?
2) can I just add OID's/Datasources to the monitoring templates and have them pulled in to rrd data files?
3) Where do errors from the custom graph definitions go?  I had to resort to running rrdtool on the command line to find my syntax errors.
