After some time, a problem were resolved.

When you create new custom properties and it's type for example "date" or "int" you must set a value. If value is empty you can't delete it

In cleaner conditions that probably works. For my (now abandoned but still running) Zenoss instance it doesn't. But then I can't even add new schema properties without it throwing an error. But I'm sure that's just my instance. Good find though.
