Hello. I am pretty new to Zenoss.
I am looking at several different types of devices on my network in Zenoss right now including Windows/Linux servers (both physical and virtual), APC UPSs, routers, switches, etc... and I am wondering... how do I know when I need to download an additional MIB for a type of device? What good will it do for me?
Some devices already list the interfaces in Zenoss and show me the bandwidth usage and everything, but some devices don't seem to list interfaces, so I'm wondering if downloading the correct MIB is what I need to do.
Any assistance is much appreciated.
