Googled pretty much around the world but still haven't been able to figure out how the locations work.

tried different approaches:

add single device under devices and filled out locations with:
street-number-city
street-city
city
county

But non of them wil show up on the map.

Sjef,

There's a couple of hierarchies in the Devices tab under Infrastructure.  To add devices to the map, add a location by highlighting "Locations" and clicking the plus button at the bottom.
