Hello,
I don't believe I understand how 'Administered Objects' is supposed to work? I assumed if a user was allowed to administer an object, that user would be able to acknowledge events generated by the object.
As an example:
Create user 'joe'
Under Settings -> users -> joe -> Administered Object, add device server1 to joe and make his role 'Manager'
from server1, generate an snmptrap -- snmptrap -v 2c -c public zenoss s "test" -- this creates an event in the zenoss "Events" dashboard
Login as user 'joe' and click the 'Events' link, select the message for server1, user 'joe' is unable to acknowledge the event (the buttons are not highlighted for select).
Have I done something wrong, or was my assumption incorrect?
I have tried numerous other combination to get this to work with no success.
