Yesterday I upgraded from 3.1 to 3.2.1 and since then I seem to have a very large qty of errors from zenprocess which didn't exist before the upgrade. The errors seem to come in 3 different flavors, and I've not found anything that reliably clears them up.
Flavor 1:
Unable to read processes on device DEVICE; error: my_process.exe
Flavor 2:
Unable to read processes on device DEVICE; error: first argument must be string or compiled pattern
Flavor 3:
Process not running: my_process Using regex 'my_process_regex' All Processes have stopped since the last model occurred. Last Modification time
Reading through some of the forum posts I've tried the following none of which has any consistent results:
1) Navigate to the Device/OSProcesses, delete the OSProcess component. Clear all events for the device, remodel the device
2) Remodel the device without making any changes
3) restart ZenProcess on the collector responsible for the DEVICE in question.
Additionally I've reviewed the following two bugs but neither seems to have a fix ATM. My issue may or maynot be related but wanted to call them out in case they are.
