Good day!
I have problem with network map. I read admin guide and forum with google too. But the problem not solved. So zenoss 3.2.1, i want to use network map, I add all devoces, I chose in my user account settings my network 10.1.211.0 so I go to Network maps and see there my network.
I want to see a map with my devices. As to me it is one of the main features in monitoring, but why it makes so hard ?

Remember that the network map is only layer 3, and only shows 4 hops at most. It sadly isn't that useful...

What means layer 3 ? osi ?
so what can be done to have a full map with thousand devices on it?

Have you ever used google maps for example ?
A map can be made with different layers, as a result on a small map ццу can put a million of devices by scrolling it

I think the most points I've ever had Zenoss plot on google maps was a cople thousand devices. Geocaching was a huge problem :( I can't qualify if the problem still exists since we no longer use that function.
