Hi,
Does anyone know how to configure zenoss to receive messages from a device it is monitoring via message queues?

I have made a test host with 4.2 core on it. Rabbit MQ is installed and I have sent and received some test messages using some rabbitmq test scripts. Now does anyone know how I tie this into Zenoss?

In my ideal scenario, one of my devices sends an application specific message, and Zenoss shows it in the event console for that device. Or something.

Any ideas? I just can't find anything online about it.

From the above link "....It allows you to pull messages from a defined queue and automatically turn them into Zenoss events."

Hope that helps! Looks like that ZenPack is just what you need!
