Hello,

I am using Zenoss 4.2.3 Core on RHEL5 64 bits.

I am having issue sending out emails from Zenoss.
Following error isreceived when trying to send out test email

*test failed: <class 'smtplib.SMTPServerDisconnected'> - Connection unexpectedly closed*

Loading Image... Loading Image...

Connection to email server is fine.

I am able to successfully telnet to my email server.

Can anyone please help.

I'm having this problem as well but it started before I upgraded.  I upgraded in hopes of it fixing the problem.  I'm wondering if a security update to python or something is causing this.  Any ideas?  We are using Google as our domain host.  Are you by any chance using a google smtp account as well?

Disregard my last message.  Turns out Gmail started classifiying our notifications as spam all of a sudden.
