I have 2 major, serious symptoms within my zenoss 2.5 install.
All daemons are running ok
All logs do not show any errors but;
zenstatus eventqueue is growing continously. If I restart zenstatus, the eventqueue goes to zero but then immediately starts to grow again.
IpServices are currently not being monitored as a result.
It seems that zenstatus is not being able to send the events to zenhub, but no idea why.
zenstatus connects to zenhub ok after restarting it. No heartbeat failures are reported.
Then also zenping is not showing any errors or warnings. if you check in the logs its cylcling ok, connected to zenhub ok, BUT its not pingning devices. A device which is down is not being reported. I happened to realise this after checking the "last seen" for an ip down event, which showed it was not being updated.
I have checked there are no suppressed events. I have increased debug level, there is not any error information
I have run zenstatus in foreground for debugging, still nothing to point to an issue.
Anyone who can suggest sothing please
