I was monitoring a number of services pertaining to an application that ran on one of my Windows Servers.  I have now uninstalled that application and the associated services from that server.  I went to our Zenoss Core 4.2.3 install and went in to Infrastructure -> Windows Services and changed the monitoring option back to "Inherit 'NO' from Services".  But I am still getting error events saying the services are down and because they are no longer installed on the server, I can't check anything in Infrastructure -> Devices -> Windows Services.  How do I stop the monitoring?

Have you tried remodelling the devices?  The model cycle is typically every 12 hours and it is that that decides what exists on a device.  The actual monitoring then typically runs every 5 minutes - based on what the modeler found.

If services no longer exists on the device, a new model should delete the non-existent ones.
