Hi Everybody,

I have a server running Zenoss Core and recently, we have some instances in AWS, which wanted the monitor with Zenoss also. How could I? Is there a ZenPack that serves to facilitate monitoring AWS instance?

Hi!  I'm one of the engineers here at Zenoss working on AWS. 
I've split the AWS ZenPack into its own repo, found here:
https://github.com/zenoss/ZenPacks.zenoss.AWS https://github.com/zenoss/ZenPacks.zenoss.AWS

You can drop it into your current Core server by replacing the existing directory, but I wouldn't use it for anything like production for another week or so.  This Pack can monitor instances and graph CloudWatch data currently, with small caveats like EBS volumes; this week we're finishing that, adding monitoring for AWS generally and per- service, region, API, etc.

Do you have any feature requests?

Hi Todd,

Really, I implemented this Zenpack, but I can not get what I want, apparently failed to make me see instances AWS console, since all data entry, but after two days of listening, nothing happens. In the section of instances, can not see my servers.

In my ignorance, could you help me with a brief explanation of how the Zenpack.

Also I have this constantly warning:
http://54.241.13.178:8080/zport/dmd/Events/Cmd/Fail /Cmd/Fail Command timed out on device EC2Manager: '/usr/local/zenoss/zenoss/ZenPacks/ZenPacks.zenoss.ZenAWS-1.0.3-py2.6.egg/Ze
