Greetings masters :)
Is there a way to set CPU threshold generate alert if the cpu stays over threshold for a period of time. It`s not useful to get alerted for a 1 second cpu spike but if the cpu stays at that range 5 minutes, that`s problem. Is there a way to do that?

There is a way to set an escalation to event severity.  Maybe you could lower the alert level of a CPU threshold, and set a severity increase after x occurences.  This way you would only get alerted by repeat offenders.

We use an alert scheduling which sends out email/sms alert after n polling cycles if the alert count reaches n.
