Hello, howdy. So we consolidated some of our email lists for obvious reasons, choosing ***@mycompany for all the new zenoss alerts. The email list works perfectly. As in there is no misconfiguration on our servers, we can email back and forth using it, and recieve outside emails from customers. However zenoss seems to be having issues sending to the address. It shows it's an invalid recipient in the maillogs, which is quite strange. I can still send the emails to the personal accounts we originally used for the alerts at the same time. I've restarted everything many times, and checked the daemons. It appears zenoss related. Does anyone know if this is a strange bug? Here is just a quick snippet of the error;
Jan 25 13:35:59 localhost postfix/smtpd[13139]: connect from localhost[127.0.0.1]
Jan 25 13:35:59 localhost postfix/smtpd[13139]: warning: Illegal address syntax from localhost[127.0.0.1] in RCPT command: <>
Jan 25 13:35:59 localhost postfix/smtpd[13139]: lost connection after RSET from localhost[127.0.0.1]
Anyhow just thought I'd make a post hoping someone had this error, as I continue to dig into the logs and try to resolve this.
I have more information, but just wanted a general idea if anyone had this error.
