Hello,

I have created a beautiful html e-mail alert and clear messages for our network engineering team. We use the Log feature to document the solution or workaround in each event.


Log:

| 2012/04/10 14:04:59.000 <user> said: | The solution is ... |
| 2012/04/10 14:04:56.000 <user> said: | The problem is .. |

I want to include the log history of the event in CLEAR e-mail message. AFAIK there is no environment variable which could accomplish that?!

Does anyone of you have a Idea how I solve that? Maybe it's a good idea for a feature request?

If you were doing this from an external dmd script and event command it should possible (I did something similar awhile back with custom attributes, but not log entries), however if your using native alerting framework, I don't bevlieve there is an attribute that exposes that data.

I agree that this would make a good addition. I was looking to doing something with adding the event logs to an e-mail, but I haven't found a way to that yet.
