Anyone ever done this?  I'm assuming we should be able to just have Nagios send SNMP traps to Zenoss or have Zenoss go fetch the traps and it work?  Anyone seen or done this in the past?

If your device allows for more than one trap destination, the simple solution is to setup Zenoss as a extra valid trap destination.

Why would you have both systems in parallel?

We have customers that use Nagios and manage it on their end, but they want the NOC to receive some of their alerts since we don’t monitor their stuff directly.

Zenoss has a method to generate events via script, if your Nagios can trigger scripts and pass it variables, then you should be able to have your Zenoss replicate the event.
