I usually disable monitoring some components (like Null interface for example) in order to spare Zenoss resources but in Zenoss Core v4.2 it seems to be not working. When I display components (interfaces, filesystems etc.) the Monitored checkbox is grey and trying to disable monitoring by clicking the button and chosing Monitoring... option fails with the error message  *AttributeError:componentSearch*  being displayed on the yellow banner at the top of the screen.
Is there anything I'm missing here like any setting or permission controlling the ability to do this task ?

Hey Nilie, I have the same issue with fresh install on Centos 6. Have not been able to find a fix yet.
