Hi,

I'm trying to setup monitoring of a Windows 2008 R2 server. I've followed the excellent document http://community.zenoss.org/docs/DOC-4517 http://community.zenoss.org/docs/DOC-4517 and everything seemed to be working.

However, I noticed that some services where missing from the server, and using "wmic" I did a "select * from Win32_Service" as my unprivileged user and as an administrative user. Result; 33 services as unprivileged, 129 as administrator.

I found http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/zh/ITCG/thread/c94dc1cd-1dad-466b-8f37-7710ff6a288a http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/zh/ITCG/thread/c94dc1cd-1dad-466b-8f37-7710ff6a288a - which basically is the same problem as mine. But I have no idea, how to set an SDDL on the Win32_Services WMI class.

Any suggestions?

Do you monitor Windows-servers as an unprivileged user - and do you have all services listed?
