hi,

I am new to Zenoss. I would like to setup monitoring of cisco devices (routers/switches/firewalls). I would like to get alerts on errors, interface/device DOWN status, link failures etc. I would like to set alerting (SMS) feature as well, if available.

Would appreciate some feedback. Is there any document which can help?

I highly recommend reading or at least reviewing the http://community.zenoss.org/community/documentation/official_documentation/getting-started Getting Started Guide.

Zenoss is fully capable of monitoring your Cisco devices, with a mix of SNMP, Syslog, and Zenpacks it won't be too difficult to setup. Just give it a try and see what happens!
