Zenoss detects my 2 Qlogic fiber HBA cards when the server is modeled and they are listed under 'Expansion Cards.

I would like to monitor those cards up/down status but the monitoring tab is grayed out.  The only other option is 'Locking'

Can someone tell me how to monitor devices in the Expansion Cards tab.

I dont think that zenoss is polling those cards. You'd need to write a tempalte for it.

The Admin guide has some high level information, and you can look at (though don't change them) any of the existing templates for some examples. Advanced -> monitoring templates... That said, while it's probably pretty easy to write a command based data source that runs some script to see if the card is up/down, it's not going to be integrated into the UI really...
