Hello

I am playing currently with Zenoss core 4.0  I wanted to monitor Windows Server,
Previously i have used zenoss core 3.2 which i know requires Snmp informant to be installed on windows machines for more details monitoring . (not using wmi).

So does zenoss core 4 also require snmp informant to be installed to get detailed monitoring graphs

With 4, the default SNMP monitoring scenario does not change - the Informant subagent on the targets is still assumed..  What does change is that if you want to monitor with WMI then Zenoss themselves provide the Windows and pre-requisite pySamba ZenPacks.

The other thing you might look at if you prefer SNMP as a monitoring tool, is Ryan Matte's Windows SNMP monitoring ZenPacks.
