It doesnt tell you what the actual exception is does it? It might be worth checking zenhub.log or zenevent.log for additional details

It occured in event class status\update.

The threshold Memory in template /zport/dmd/Devices/Server/Windows/1%20Processor/rrdTemplates/Device has caused an exception.

Again, does it give you the actual exception/traceback, or is this all that there is? The event might be limited in info, but zenhub or event.log might have more details.

You might be able to disable the threshold on the template to make the errors cease

The graphs were not working. I removed this zenpack. Was it not working because of this:

*External Dependencies*: It consists of 2 bash scripts which collect the information from the SNMP Service. The bash scripts rely on the 'bc' and 'snmpwalk' commands, so make sure that you have those installed on your server before using this ZenPack.


Where do I get these scripts and how do I install them?

The scripts will be included in the ZenPack, the bc and snmpwalk are likely already present, but you'll have to check as I don't know what distro you are using.

If you have removed the zenpack, the errors should have stopped, is that not the case?

In any case, I know alot of people use the pack, so if the graphs were not working that would explain the error message. You could potentially re-install the pack, and from there debug why the graphs were not working.

The errors stopped when I removed the zenpack. I've reinstalled it and the grapghs appear with NAN values. I guess I need to wait a while for it to collect some data?

Yeah, you'll want to wait at least three polling intervals (usually 15 minutes) before the NANs should be replace with actual data. If your still seeing NANs after that something is up that will require some additional debugging

There is no data so far. I am looking at the grapghs sub-container in the Windows container. I've selected Free Memory, CPU and Paging. They are all showing NAN values.

I tried to snmp walk one of the errors and I got this
