Is it possible to temporarily disable alerting for a monitored server or group of servers? For example, when you have planned maintenance it'd be good to stop the email alerts for a few hours. We have the Zenoss Core 3.1.0 appliance.

I've found how to do this - you can set maintenance windows for individual devices or for a whole device class.

Exactly. One can also disable alerting rules if you're looking to just prevent email and paging.

You can also create groups and put a maintenance window on the group.  However, if you later add a device to the group, it does not get added to the maintenance window...  or it has been my experience in 3.1
